Getting Started with RetentionMaster

Learn how RetentionMaster connects workspace setup, site tracking, retention assets, campaigns, and reporting into one conversion analytics workflow.

What RetentionMaster does

RetentionMaster tracks website behavior, records canonical and custom actions, displays retention assets, and reports how those interactions affect leads, registrations, deposits, purchases, and retention.

A workspace contains one or more websites. Each website receives a public key used by the RetentionMaster snippet. Once the snippet is installed, page views, trigger events, retention asset telemetry, and manual RMTrack events can flow into Reporting, Lead Collection, User Journey, Retention, Content Depth, Forecast, and Data Explorer.

Recommended first workflow

Create or select a workspace, install the snippet, verify installation, confirm page_view events in Reporting, then add a retention asset from the Retention Library or Designer.

After a retention asset exists, bind it through Campaigns so runtime rules can decide which site, trigger, page scope, device, and date window should show it. Use Reporting and Retention pages to measure what changed.

Where to go next

Use Installing the RetentionMaster Snippet for deployment, Tracking Events with RMTrack() for custom conversion events, and Campaigns and Trigger Rules when you are ready to show assets to visitors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need GTM to start?

No. The base script can be installed directly. GTM is useful when your team wants managed tags, mapped variables, and custom action tags.

Which plan can start tracking?

RM Starter includes page_view, exit_intent, and CTA click tracking with one retention asset, one active campaign at a time, and one site. Higher plans unlock more volume, reporting depth, and Designer access.
